    Friendly folks, neighborly vibe, simple and cozy and good, reliable, well executed American diner food across all meals. Carrying no pretense other than valid pride at being a local staple, Varsity Inn is a great place for meetings with no pretense. Here's to keeping places like this alive and loved!

    Great breakfast food that is held back by the coffee and the price. Breakfast for two rings in at about $40 which seems steep for eggs, bacon, and waffles. The coffee leaves a lot to be desired: tasted burnt and generally low quality. The pancakes had too much raising agent, but not inedibly so. Overall the service is good: the staff is friendly, can handle a rush, and is attentive.

    Classic diner, with reasonable prices for Seattle. Staff was very friendly and we received out food quickly. The portion size of the hashbrowns could feed three. Eggs cooked perfectly. They seem to get pretty busy on the weekend.

    Classic diner - we stopped here on a busy Sat and had great service. Very short wait for a booth and the hostess was great about it. The waiter suggested some great specials and everything we ordered was delicious.
